Autumn Online Marketing Seminar Series.

29/06/2008

Following the great success of our Email Marketing Seminar on the  26th June, we are pleased to announce the launch of a full series of online marketing seminars for the autumn.

The Glasgow-based technology and innovation consultancy is holding a series of six half-day online marketing seminars for SMEs over the next two months which will focus on different elements of online marketing activity.

The seminars are designed to give businesses the knowledge they need to develop and implement an effective online marketing strategy.

The first seminar starts on October 23 and focuses on email marketing and will be followed by sessions on: search engine marketing, website usability, writing for the web, social networking and selling online.

George Boag, chief executive of Targeting Innovation, said: "We have developed these seminars because we see a real demand - and a need - for them. Research tells us that businesses which continue to increase their marketing activities in times of economic downturn fare better than those that cut back.

"Coupled with this, the internet is one of the most cost-effective marketing and communications channels available as more businesses and consumers turn to the net to identify, research and purchase products and services. This really is relevant to every business these days.

"Our seminars combine up-to-the-minute research, real world examples, practical and realistic advice and the opportunity to interact with and learn from your peers."

Seminars will be delivered at Targeting Innovation's Glasgow offices at 50 Waterloo Street from 10am to 1.30pm and include lunch for a fee of just £90 per session. There are also discounts if you attend more than one session or for multiple attendees from one company. George Boag said "we think these sessions offer fantastic value and will allow businesses to make real, effective improvements to their marketing activity".
