In partnership with Straightline Publishing Ltd, we are pleased to annouce that the Scottish Software Awards is now being planned for 2008.
The aim of the awards is to highlight the quality and diversity of the software industry in Scotland and to provide an opportunity for companies and their staff to demonstrate and celebrate their achievements with sponsors, fellow competitors and other members of the industry. The categories for this year's competition are:
- Scottish Software Company 2008
- Best Software Product
- Emerging Software Business
- International Software Business Award
- Best Wireless/mobile Software Solution
- Best Digital Media Software Solution
- Best Environmental Software Solution
Our partnership with the Scottish Open Source Awards continues and they will once again be awarding the Scottish Open Source Excellence Award.
The Scottish Software Awards 2008 evening award ceremony will take place once again in the modern and relaxing surroundings of the RadissonSAS Glasgow on Friday 28th November 2008.
Guests will be welcomed by a drinks reception with the opportunity to network with the industry's most innovative companies and sector leaders. The awards dinner, keynote address and awards presentation will follow with additional opportunity for winners to celebrate and network with the industry's finest at the end of the evening.
All entrants automatically qualify for 2 FREE tickets to the awards dinner. If you would like to make it a company/team evening (and reward those who have contributed to your success over the year) or invite someone else to the awards, additional tickets are available to entrants at a 20% discount rate of £40.00.
Tickets are also available to non-entrant companies to attend this year's event, there is a small charge of £50.00 + VAT per person - a small price to pay for the opportunity to network with influential leaders of the Scottish software sector!
