School for Startups is coming to Glasgow on the 10th of December to help budding entrepreneurs develop the skills needed to improve their chances of success.
The first in a series of seminars to be hosted in Glasgow, the first boot camp is "How to start a new business", which takes you through a logical, carefully constructed model to question whether your business idea is a potential winner.
The day will help you answer some of the following questions:
- Am I an entrepreneur?
- Do I have the skill set to succeed?
- Will this idea work?
- Is there a good market for it?
- How will I make money from this idea?
- Do I have the right team around me?
- What do I do before I write a business plan? Will this idea work?
- Do I know everything I need to start my business plan?
- Does the opportunity offer compelling customer benefits as well as sustainable advantages over other solutions to the customer's need?
- What pitfalls do I have to be aware of?
