If you are looking for new ways to support your business or clients, we can help you.

In these Newsletters to you and other partners we hope to keep you informed about the companies we have helped and the partners we are working with.

Partners News:

When we started this service our aim was to work closely with partners who have established networks of clients.  After 8 months our team has established close links with the Chambers of Commerce, Business Gateway and all the local universities and colleges.  We have supported almost 20 events run by partners and we are keen to continue this as it is a way to speak to our mutual clients.  If you have an idea about how we can support one of your events please contact us.

Company News:

We are currently working with over 50 companies in the south of Scotland.   We are helping these companies define new product or process needs and then exploring how researchers in universities, research institutes and colleges can help them.  The product developments being explored currently range from software development to adding value to waste products.

Successful Chemicals Event:

Our first special interest group for companies with a common interest was held in Dumfries on 2nd April and focused on making the most of "Green marketing credentials" with representatives from 7 south of Scotland based companies attending. One delegate, Jim Dykes from PTS commented, "Worthwhile few hours covering interesting points".

Linking Entrepreneurs!

At the beginning of the year our sister Innovation project was launched.  The Linking Entrepreneurs project is designed to bring like minded entrepreneurs together in small informal meetings to share inspiration and help each other develop their business ideas. For more information on how to get involved contact Mike Forster on 07590 231558.
